RESUMO
Com a evolução nas propriedades ópticas e físicas das resinas compostas, permitiu-se ampliar suas indicações, possibilitando o desenvolvimento de técnicas mais conservadoras e efetivas do ponto de vista estético. Este caso clínico tem como objetivo apresentar as indicações, contraindicações, vantagens, desvantagens, técnicas e materiais utilizados, e as limitações da faceta direta com resina composta, com resultados estéticos conservadores e satisfatórios nos padrões estéticos desejáveis. Foi utilizada a resina composta nanoparticulada Empress Direct com características de esmalte e dentina objetivando a correta reprodução dos mesmos, além de devolver cor, forma, volume e textura, bem como o restabelecimento de um correto padrão oclusal. Concluiu-se, assim, que a faceta direta em resina composta consiste em uma técnica de excelentes e duradouros resultados, além de ser um procedimento econômico e consevador quando comparada a outras técnicas (AU).
ABSTRACT
With the evolution in the optical and physical properties of the composite resins, it was possible to broaden its indications, allowing the development of more conservative and effective techniques from the aesthetic point of view. This clinical case aims to present indications, against indications, advantages, disadvantages, techniques and materials used, and the limitations of the direct facet with composite resin, with aesthetic results conservative and satisfactory in the desirable aesthetic standards. Empress Direct nanoparticulate composite resin with enamel and dentin characteristics was used to reproduce them correctly, as well as to restore color, shape, volume and texture, as well as the restoration of a correct occlusal pattern. In conclusion, the direct composite resin facet consists of an excellent and golden results technique, as well as being an economical and conservative procedure when compared to other techniques (AU).
