RESUMEN

Se clarifica el concepto deporte de iniciación; remarcando la importancia de la psicología en esta área y señalándose algunos problemas en su aplicación.Se identifican los factores que influyen en la participación en el deporte de iniciación y los motivos de abandono de dicha práctica. Se analiza el papel de los entrenadores y de los padres de familia en el deporte de iniciación y se brindan recomendaciones para un adecuadoasesoramiento psicológico en la actividad deportiva infantil.

ABSTRACT

The concept of the initiation sport is clarified, remarking the importance of the psychology on this area and pointing out to some problems on its application.The factors that influence on the participation on the initiation sport and the motives of its abandon are identify.The rol of the trainers and the parents of family on the initiation sport is analyzed and give recommendations to a appropriate psychological advice on the child like sport activity.
