Maltrato conyugal en un grupo de mujeres de la 7ma zona de Nueva Esperanza del distrito de Villa María del Triunfo / Spouse abuse in a group of women in the 7th zone of Nueva Esperanza of the district of Villa María del Triunfo

RESUMEN

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue identificar las características socio demográficas y del maltrato de las mujeres víctimas y no víctimas del maltrato conyugal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 78 mujeres que residían en cinco asentamientos humanos ubicados en la séptima zona de Nueva Esperanza del distrito de Villa María del Triunfo. De las cuales 44 eran mujeres maltratadas y 34 mujeres no maltratadas entre 15 y 55 años. El instrumento utilizado fue el Cuestionario de Evaluación del Maltrato Conyugal. Para el análisis de los resultados se utilizó la distribución de frecuencias, distribución porcentual y Chi Cuadrado. Se trabajó con un nivel de significancia de 0.05 y 0.01. Dentro de las características demográficas más resaltantes se observa que la mayoría tienen secundaria completa, son amas de casa, tienen tres hijos como promedio e iniciaron su relación depareja entre los 18 y 25 años. En cuanto a las características del maltrato se ha encontrado que existe una asociación entre la frecuencia de maltrato que recibía antes y su condición de maltrato actual; asimismo, una asociación entre la frecuencia de maltrato que recibíacuando era menor de edad y su condición de maltrato actual.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the present investigation was identify the demographic and characteristic partner of the abuse of the women victims and non victims of the married abuse. The sample was conformed by 78 women that resided in five human establishments located at the seventh area of Nueva Esperanza in the district of Villa María del Triunfo. The sample was 78 women; 44 of them were mistreated women and 34 women were not mistreated between 15 and 55 years. The instrument was the Questionnaire of Evaluation of the Married Abuse. For the analysis of the results it was used the distribution of frequencies, percentage distribution and Chi Squared. The level of significance was 0.05 and 0.01. lnside the characteristics demographic more important was that most of them has complete secondary, they are housewives, they have three children like average and they began couple relationship between the 18 and 25 years. As for the characteristics of the abuse there was an association among the abuse frequency that they received before and its condition of current abuse; also, an association among the abuse frequency that they received when it was smaller than age and their condition of current abuse now.
