RESUMEN
El Valle del Jiboa, territorio compartido por los departamentos de San Vicente y La Paz son ricos en recursos hídricos y suelos; sin embargo, la contradicción real es el déficit en el acceso al agua para una buena parte de su población, particularmente del área rural, de acuerdo a documentos de las mismas alcaldías. El presente documento da cuenta de las peripecias que las mujeres realizan para llevar el vital líquido a casa, y cómo les impacta en sus vidas personales y ámbitos colectivos.
ABSTRACT
The Jiboa Valley, a territory shared by the departments of San Vicente and La Paz, is rich in water resources and soils; However, the real contradiction is the deficit in access to water for a good part of its population, particularly in rural areas, according to documents from the municipal governments themselves. This document gives an account of the adventures that women carry out to bring the vital liquid home, and how it impacts them in their personal lives and collective spheres.
