RESUMO
Resumo O modelo curricular da Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas vem inovando o ensino médico na Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Tendo os grupos tutorias como alicerce e valendo-se de alternativas inteligentes como os PINs e o programa de habilidades e atitudes, o novo currículo vem desenvolvendo senso crítico e de liderança entre os estudantes. Cria-se uma relação cooperativa entre docentes e estudantes, visando a formação de médicos mais sensíveis às necessidades dos pacientes e capazes de oferecer serviços que possam proporcionar melhor qualidade de vida à população.
ABSTRACT
Abstract A Problem-Based Learning model of curriculum is innovating in the teaching of Medicine at Londrina State University. Leveraged by tutorial groups and intelligent options like the Interdisciplinary Practices in Interaction, Service and Community (PINs), and the skills and attitudes program. The new curriculum is developing a critical approach and sense of leadership among students. A relation of cooperation ins established between faculty and students with a view to forming physicians more sensitive to patients' needs and able to offer services that will afford the public improved quality of life.
