O papel da psicopedagogia na inclusão e na aprendizagem da pessoa autista / The role of Psychopedagogy in the inclusion and learning of the autistic person

RESUMO

Pessoa autista é aquela que reconhece o autismo como parte inerente de sua identidade individual, sendo geralmente diagnosticada com o Transtorno do Espectro Autista, uma deficiência que se refere a uma série de condições caracterizadas por algum grau de comprometimento no comportamento social. Existem várias linhas de tratamento, desde o uso de medicamentos até o trabalho de equipe multiprofissional. Neste último caso, o psicopedagogo pode integrar a equipe, ocupando o espaço de mediador entre a escola, o educando e a equipe terapêutica. Neste texto, defendemos a ideia de que a aprendizagem da pessoa autista necessita estar relacionada a áreas de interesse do indivíduo e que apresente quatro elementos (1) adaptação de material; (2) atenção individualizada; (3) adaptação dos conteúdos dentro dos eixos de interesse do indivíduo; e (4) conhecer profundamente o estudante.

ABSTRACT

Autistic is a person who recognize autism as an inherent part of an individual's identity, generally diagnosed with autistic Spectrum Disorder, a disability that refers to a series of conditions characterized by some degree of impairment in social behavior. There are different kinds of treatment, ranging from the medicine use to multiprofessional team care. In this last case, the psychopedagogue should be part of this team, mediating the relationships between school, students and therapeutic team. In this paper we argue that the learning of the autistic person is related to areas of interest of the individual and need to follow four points (1) material adaptation; (2) individualized attention; (3) adaptation of the contents within the individual's axes of interest; and (4) know the student deeply.
