ABSTRACT

For the first time in East; Central; and Southern Africa; leaders and experts in health met at a landmark conference that helped forge strategies to make results of health contribute to the betterment of the people in the region. The meeting; which brought together health ministers; directors of health services; directors of research institutes; deans and principals of medical schools; donor organizations; non-governmental organizations and media bodies among others; helped identify and formulate action plans that would helped identify and formulate action plans that would help tackle reproductive health problems facing the people
