Calidad de vida de pacientes con artritis reumatoide, Hospital Central del Instituto de Previsión Social

RESUMEN

Resumen Introducción: La calidad de vida es la manera en el que un individuo percibe su posición en la vida, mediante su realización plena como persona. La Artritis Reumatoide es una patología inmunológica, crónica, cuya evolución produce un deterioro físico en el individuo que la padece y por lo tanto afecta la calidad de vida de estas. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de calidad de vida en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide que acuden al Hospital Central del Instituto de Previsión Social durante el mes de setiembre de 2017. Material y método: Estudio Observacional, descriptivo de corte transversal, realizada en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide que acuden a sus consultas clínicas en el Servicio de Reumatología del Hospital Central del Instituto de Previsión Social en el mes de setiembre del año 2017. Resultados: La puntuación obtenida para el nivel de Calidad de Vida, es de 48, que corresponde a un nivel regular en la calidad de vida según lo establecido en la escala de puntuaciones del manual de utilización del Cuestionario de Salud SF-36. Conclusión: Los pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide que acuden al Hospital Central del Instituto de Previsión Social poseen regular nivel de calidad de vida.

Abstract Introduction: The quality of life is the way in which an individual perceives his position in life, through his full realization as a person. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic, immunological pathology, whose evolution produces a disability in the individual who suffers it and therefore certain deterioration in the quality of life of the same. Objective: To describe the level of quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who come to the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute. September 2017. Material and methods: Observational, descriptive cross-sectional study, carried out in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who attended their clinical consultations in the Rheumatology Service of the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute in the month of September of the year 2017. Results: The average score for the Quality of Life level is 48, which corresponds to a regular level of quality of life as established in the scoring scale of the SF-36 Health Questionnaire use manual. Conclusions: Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis who come to the Central Hospital of the Social Security Institute, their regular level of quality of life.
