Educação física e a formação em saúde coletiva: deslocamentos necessários para a atuação no Sistema Único de Saúde / Physical education and training in public health: necessary displacements to act in the Brazilian Unified Health System

RESUMO

RESUMO Este ensaio tem a proposta de refletir sobre a importância da saúde coletiva no âmbito da formação na área de educação física, as relações com as demandas sociais, a ampliação das perspectivas da educação física no âmbito da saúde e o papel dos currículos nesse processo. Está estruturado em quatro seções na primeira, foram contextualizados os caminhos históricos, a área de educação física e a formação em saúde; na segunda, problematizaram-se os deslocamentos que a educação física precisa realizar em direção ao campo da saúde coletiva e do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS); a terceira questiona a relação entre currículo, universidade e a reprodução social que pode ocorrer quando se inserem os conhecimentos e as práticas da saúde coletiva acriticamente; e, por fim, a quarta e última seção apresenta breves considerações finais no intuito de apontar alguns direcionamentos sobre a formação nessa área.

ABSTRACT This essay aims to reflect on the importance of public health in the context of training in the field of physical education, the relations with social demands, the expansion of perspectives of physical education in the health field, and the role of curricula in this process. It is structured in four sections in the first, the historical paths, the area of physical education and health training were contextualized; in the second one, the displacements that physical education needs to make towards the field of public health and the Unified Health System (SUS) were discussed; the third one questions the relationship between curriculum, university and social reproduction that can occur when the knowledge and practices of public health are uncritically inserted; and, finally, the fourth and last section presents brief final considerations in order to point out some directions on training in this area.
