ABSTRACT
This study aimed to evaluate the pregnancy rate according to the type of mucus presented in Saanengoats submitted to artificial insemination in fixed time (TAI). The study was conducted in the state of Pará, in themunicipality of Iguarapé-Açu, in Pará Northeast, in a private property. 12 goats used for milk production wereused, with ages ranging from 1 to 3 years, the classification of the type of vaginal mucus, was made according toSmith (2006). The pregnancy rate for animals with crystalline mucus was 33.3% for those who had crystallinestriatedmucus was 0% for those who had striatum mucus was 66.6% for those who had striatum mucus -caseosowas 50% and for those who had mucus cheesy pregnancy rate was 50%. After data analysis showed that the typeof mucus does not influence the animal pregnancy rate.
