Implementación de un programa de teleeducación intercultural para la Universidad Indígena de Venezuela / Implementation of an intercultural tele-education program for the indigenous University of Venezuela

RESUMEN

La tecnología de información juega hoy día un rol fundamental en la educación. Esta permite llevar la educación a sitios remotos y de difícil acceso como lo son los Pueblos indígenas, logrando democratizar la enseñanza, en términos de equidad. La Universidad Indígena de Venezuela (UIV), trabaja con la modalidad del profesor itinerante, repercutiendo enormemente no solo en términos económicos, sino también en relación con el ausentismo laboral. A pesar de los años de vigencia de la teleeducación a nivel mundial, la UIV no cuenta con tan importante herramienta. Es nuestro compromiso el de desarrollar la teleeducación en términos de interculturalidad, identificando los códigos que dan etnicidad a cada Pueblo(AU)

ABSTRACT

Information technology today plays a fundamental role in education. This allows education to be taken to remote and difficult to access places such as indigenous peoples, managing to democratize education, in terms of equity. The Indigenous University of Venezuela (UIV), works with the modality of the itinerant professor, having an enormous impact not only in economic terms, but also in relation to absenteeism. Despite the years of tele-education worldwide, the IVU does not have such an important tool.
