Apresentação de um método histoquímico para detectar a ação quelante do EDTA na dentina radicular. Este método consiste na impregnação de íons de Níquel no interior dos canalículos dentinários e a sua quelação pelo EDTA. A revelação dos íons de Níquel que não foram quelados é feita por meio de uma solução alcoólica de Dimetilglioxima a 1 porcento
