Fatores etiológicos relacionados ao afrouxamento dos parafusos dos pilares protéticos sobre implantes / Etiological factors related loosening of the screwa implant of the abutment prosthetic implant

RESUMO

Dentre uma série de complicações protéticas em próteses sobre implante, a de maior incidência relatada na literatura tem sido o afrouxamento de parafusos. Diversos autores tentam correlacionar este acontecimento com circunstâncias clínicas vividas diariamente, como diferenças entre plataformas de implantes; diferença do tipo de prótese, sendo cimentada ou parafusada; projetos e materiais dos parafusos; necessidade de constantes reapertos dos parafusos durante a confecção da fase protética; valores conseguidos no toque inicial; adaptação do componente na plataforma dos implantes. Desta forma é importante fazer uma revisão dos trabalhos publicados na literatura, para se obter informações relevantes a fim de eliminar ou minimizar a incidência destes problemas

ABSTRACT

Among a several prosthetic complications associated to implant prosthesis, the highest incidence reported in the literature has been the screw-tightening loosening. Several authors have correlated this event with clinical conditions experienced daily as differences in the implants platforms; different prosthesis type, like cemented or screwed; design and materials of the screws, the constant screws tightening and loosening during prosthetic phase; the torque values achieved initially; adaptation of the platform component of the implants. Therefore, it is important to realize a literature review to obtain relevant information to eliminate or minimize the incidence of these problems
