O isomorfismo entre executivos nas maiores empresas brasileiras / Isomorphism among executives in the largest brazilian companies

RESUMO

Neste trabalho, buscou-se retratar aspectos do isomorfismo do executivo, aqui entendido como uma convergência progressiva dos indivíduos a uma tendência, por meio da imitação, buscando a legitimação, nas principais empresas brasileiras. A identificação desse isomorfismo foi realizada pela da análise quantitativa em uma amostra de 965 executivos homens e mulheres e qualitativa, realizada com elementos da Análise do Discurso contidos em entrevistas e grupos de foco realizados com 263 executivos. A principal contribuição do trabalho foi iniciar a discussão sobre o isomorfismo de indivíduos, de classes; nesse caso, dos executivos. Verificou-se como o executivo legitima e perpetua as relações construídas socialmente, que acabam por pactuarem com as desigualdades de gênero e de poder.

ABSTRACT

By means of this study, we sought to portray aspects of the isomorphism of the executive, here understood as a progressive convergence of individuals to a tendency, by means of the imitation, seeking legitimacy, in the main Brazilian companies. The identification of this isomorphism was made by means of the quantitative analysis in a sample of 965 male and female executives, and qualitative, with elements of discourse analysis contained in interviews and focus groups conducted with 263 executives. The main contribution of this work was to initiate the discussion of the isomorphism of individuals and classes, in this case the executives. It was verified how the executive legitimizes and perpetuates socially built relationships, which end up supporting inequalities of gender and power.
