RESUMO
Hipertensão arterial é um problema de saúde pública mundial. É caracterizada como doença crônica, não transmissível, de natureza multifatorial e assintomática na maioria dos casos. A falta de adesão ao tratamento é uma dificuldade encontrada no atendimento aos hipertensos. Tem-se constituído grande desafio para os profissionais da saúde. Objetivo:
o estudo teve por objetivo identificar as dificuldades para a adesão do usuário ao tratamento prescrito.Metodologia:
trata-se de um estudo de natureza descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado em Unidade de Atenção Primária à Saúde no município de Juiz de Fora (MG), por meio de entrevistas com 13 usuários.Conclusão:
concluiu-se que a principal forma de controle/tratamento da hipertensão arterial é o farmacológico. Usuários têm adesão insatisfatória ao tratamento anti-hipertensivo. Isso se deve ao déficit de conhecimento em relação à doença e ao tratamento não medicamentoso, à ausência de sintomatologia, a dificuldades financeiras e efeitos colaterais do tratamento farmacológico instituído.ABSTRACT
Hypertension is a worldwide public health problem. It is a chronic, non-communicable, multifactorial and asymptomatic disease in most cases. The lack of adherence to treatment is a difficulty in the treatment of hypertension. It has been a major challenge for health professionals. Objective:
the study aimed to identify the difficulties to users adhere to the prescribed treatment.Methodology:
this was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, performed in a Primary Health Care Unit in the city of Juiz de Fora/MG, through interviews with 13 users.Conclusion:
it was concluded that the main form of control/treatment of Hypertension is pharmacological. Users have poor adherence to antihypertensive treatment. This is due to lack of knowledge about the disease and non-drug treatment, absence of symptoms, financial difficulties and side effects of pharmacological treatment.
