RESUMO
O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar a presença de sinais e sintomas da Disfunção Temporomandibular (DTM) em pacientes idosos. Foram comparados dois grupos GI - grupo composto por idosos não institucionalizados (igreja) e GII - grupo de idosos institucionalizados (asilo). O intuito desta pesquisa foi avaliar, por meio de questionário, a presença de sinais e sintomas relativos à presença de DTM nesses dois grupos distintos (AU).
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the presence of signs and symptoms of Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) in elderly patients. Two groups were compared GI - group of non-institutionalized elderly (church) and GII - group of institutionalized elderly people (rest home). The aim was to evaluate, through a questionnaire, the presence of signs and symptoms related to TMD in these two distinct groups (AU)
