ABSTRACT
In this article, we seek to establish the relationship among phenomenology, ontology and metaphysics in Edith Stein. To this end, it examines her statement on the controversial discussion of idealism and realism, particularly from her original harmonization between the philosophy of her master,Edmund Husserl, and Thomas Aquinas. It examines Stein?s explicitness of the different ontologies of the two authors of reference, particularly considering the status of existence, essence and the transcendental.(AU)
