La mortalidad materna y los servicios de salud y justicia: un abordaje interdisciplinario / The maternal death and health and justice services: an interdisciplinary and crossed-sectorial approach from the perspective of psychology

RESUMEN

La mortalidad materna es un importante problema de salud pública, siendo una de sus principales causas las complicaciones derivadas del aborto inseguro. Los objetivos del presente estudio son a) Caracterizar los conocimientos y actitudes de estudiantes universitarios en relación a la interrupción legal del embarazo; b) Describir conocimientos y actitudes de profesionales del sector salud y del Poder Judicial respecto de la legislación vigente sobre interrupción del embarazo. En el presente artículo se analiza el impacto de la problemática sobre los procesos de formación y se explicita la investigación en curso, detallándose los avances producidos hasta la actualidad. Se estima que la información producida en el estudio servirá como insumo para el desarrollo de un abordaje interdisciplinario e intersectorial que favorezca el acceso de las mujeres a la interrupción legal del embarazo, dejando capacidad instalada en los equipos de salud y del poder judicial que actúan en el nivel local.

ABSTRACT

The maternal death is an important problema in the public health, being one of the main causes, the diffculties resulting from the unsafe abortion. The purposes of the following study are a) Characterize the knowledges and actitudes of the university students in relation to the interruption of the legal pregnancy; b)Describe the knowledges and actitudes of the professionals of the health sector and the Justice Department concerning to the current legislation about the interruption of the pregnancy. In this article it's analized the impact on the problematic about the process of formation and it's specifed the investigation in course, telling in details the advances which have produced up to now. It's estimated that the information produced in the study would be useful as supplies for the development of a deal with a interdisciplinary and crossed-sectorial to beneft the access of women in the legal interruption of pregnancy, leaving capacity installeted in the health equipment and in the Justice Department who act in the local area.
