ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study was to describe and discuss a clinical case of restoration in an Ormocer based photopolymerized composite resin in posterior dental element, detailing the material with the intention to improve conventional composite resins clinical behavior, presenting many advantages. The material is based on a glass-ceramic and hybrid particle technology having an inorganic filler content of 84% w/w, furthermore it shows a low contraction stress (3.87 MPa). Thus being the first restoration material in the world to be exclusively ceramic-based manufactured. Admira Fusion makes it possible to perform direct exclusively ceramic-based restorations just as easily as good quality composites (AU).
