Estado de inmunocompetencia en pacientes desnutridos / State of inmucompetence in malnourished patients

RESUMEN

Se realizó una investigación prospectiva y de intervención comunitaria en los niños desnutridos menores de 15 años atendidos en el CMF # 21, perteneciente a la Policlínica Integral Docente ¨ Rafael Izquierdo Ramírez ¨ del municipio Puerto Padre, durante el período comprendido entre septiembre del 2001 a Diciembre del 2002. El universo estuvo constituido por los niños menores de 15 años y se escogieron como muestra 13 pacientes identificados como desnutridos, 12 pacientes presentaron un estado inmunológico inicial deficiente de los cuales 11 pacientes fueron curados con la intervención realizada. La anemia y el mal manejo familiar predominaron como factores de riego. La puesta en práctica de un plan médico multifactorial fue capaz de revertir la inmunodeficiencia(AU)

ABSTRACT

A prospective community intervening investigation of malnourished children under 15 years of age, assisted at number 21 Family Doctor ´s Office, belonging to “Rafael Izquierdo Ramírez” Integral Teaching Policlinic, from Puerto Padre, was done during the period of time from September 2001 to December 2002. The universe was formed by children under 15 years and the sample by 13 children who were identified as malnourished ones. Twelve patients presented a deficient immunological state at the beginning From the, 11 ones were cured with the intervention carried out. Anemia and the bad family management predominated as risk factors the multifactorial medical action plan carried out was able to eliminate the immunodeficiency(AU)
