ABSTRACT
This is a transversal and descriptive study in a farm population in Havana at specific towns of Jaruco and Tumba Cuatro-Majana, which purpose was focused in how some traditional aterogenics factors, already identified, could be a real risk in the individual-family relationship. The research was done in the last third of year 2004. Also the search included other health damage wich was considered as secondary variables. The sample includes 52 families with his all-adult members over the age of 15. So the total amount of 125 peoples means the universe of the research. Doing by this way the Cluster analysis method could be used to perform an stratified sample. At the end of the investigation, the finding shows 14 peoples with a high and very high risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in the next 5 to 10 years, and that most of the families need sanitary intervention in order to make this risk down in the future(AU)
