La infección por VIH y la atención estomatológica: algunas consideraciones bioéticas / Infection from HIV and stomatological attention: some bioethical considerations

RESUMEN

La revisión bibliográfica realizada es acerca de conocimientos de la bioética, identificada desde el punto de vista de los problemas asociados con la infección por VIH, las manifestaciones orales y la atención estomatológica a las personas con VIH, con el objetivo de caracterizar algunos aspectos bioéticos relacionados con la atención estomatológica a personas con VIH. La misma analiza los conocimientos de la disciplina representados en soluciones más racionales y humanistas que darán respuesta a los complejos problemas relacionados con la epidemia, algunos como los principios bioéticos autonomía, beneficencia, no maleficencia, justicia, la confidencialidad, el secreto profesional, el enseñamiento terapéutico, el estigma y la discriminación. Además se describe el tratamiento que se le ha dado en Cuba a la epidemia y las violaciones de la bioética (AU)

ABSTRACT

The bibliographical review made is about knowledge of bioethics, identified from the point of view of problems associated with HIV infection and oral manifestations and stomatological attention to people with HIV, with the objective of characterizing some bioethical aspects related with the stomatological attention to people with HIV. This review analyzes the knowledge of the discipline represented in more rational and humanistic solutions that will give an answer to the complex problems related with the epidemics, such as the bioethical principles autonomy, charity, non malifecence, justice, confidentiality, professional secret, therapeutic coaching, stigma and discrimination. The treatment that has been given in Cuba to this epidemics and the violations of bioethics are also described
