Uso del Sildenafil para la disfunción eréctil / Use of Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction

RESUMEN

Se realizó un estudio prospectivo y analítico en 32 hombres que asistieron a la consulta de sexología del municipio San José de las Lajas por presentar disfunción eréctil y recibieron tratamiento con Sildenafil para este trastorno de la esfera sexual. Se analizó la historia clínica sexológica, los exámenes de laboratorio y para clasificar la disfunción eréctil previo y posterior al tratamiento con Sildenafil se le aplicó el Índice Internacional de Función Eréctil Abreviado. El 59,3 por ciento de los pacientes estaban entre los 51 y 60 años de edad, la hipercolesterolemia predominó con el 62,5 por ciento, el 65,6 por ciento son fumadores, 71,8 por ciento de los pacientes presentó una disfunción moderada previo al tratamiento, solo el 28,5 por ciento presentó complicaciones durante la ingestión del medicamento y el 12,5 por ciento no respondió al tratamiento con Sildenafil (AU)

ABSTRACT

It was performed a prospective and analytical study on 32 men who attended the sexology consultation of San José de las Lajas municipality for presenting erectile dysfunction and they were treated with sildenafil for this disorder of the sexual sphere. It was analyzed the sexological clinical history, laboratory tests and it was applied the International Index of Erectile Function short version to classify erectile dysfunction before and after the treatment with Sildenafil. 59,3 per cent of patients were between 51 and 60 years of age, Hypercholesterolemia predominated with 62,5 per cent, 65,6 per cent are smokers, 71,8 per cent of patients had a moderate dysfunction prior to treatment. Only 28,5 per cent had complications during ingestion of the medicine and 12,5 per cent did not respond to treatment with Sildenafil (AU)
