Los dientes retenidos son frecuentemente encontrados en la práctica estomatológica diaria. Los terceros molares son los dientes que se retienen con mayor frecuencia y generalmente aparecen en la segunda ytercera décadas de la vida. Debido a la poca frecuencia con que aparecen en la tercera edad, se decide presentar los casos de dos pacientes geriátricas, que acuden a consulta de Cirugía Máxilo Facial remitidas desde el primer nivel de atención y en ambas se diagnostican terceros molares retenidos(AU)
ABSTRACT
The retained teeth are frequently found in daily dental practice. The third molars are teeth that are retained more frequently and usually appear in the second and third decades of life. Due to the infrequency with which they appear in the third age, it was decided to present two cases of geriatric patients, attending a Maxillofacial Surgery received since the first attention level and they both are diagnosed third parties molar retained(AU)
