RESUMEN
La eritrodermia o dermatitis exfoliativa generalizada es una patología dermatológica que comprende una variedad muy amplia de etiologías y, por ende, de tratamientos, evolución, y pronóstico. Esta enfermedad es poco conocida por muchos médicos de distintas especialidades. Sin embargo, es a los médicos generales a quienes recurren los pacientes. Esta revisión pretende actualizar y repasar los conceptos generales de la eritrodermia y manejo integral de manera que el paciente pueda obtener la ayuda precisa de su médico lo antes posible (AU)

The generalized erythroderma or exfoliative dermatitis is a dermatological disease comprising a wide variety of etiologies and thus, treatment, evolution and prognosis. This disease is poorly understood by many physicians from different specialties. However, general practitioners who refer patients to. This review is to update and go through, the general concepts and integrated management of erythroderma and so the patient can get the right help from the doctor as soon as possible
