Hemangioma cavernoso: informe de un caso / Cavernous hemangioma: report of a case

RESUMEN

Se informa un caso de paciente masculino de 17 años de edad que acude a consulta máxilofacial refiriendo inflamación en el lado derecho de la cara, asintomático. Se realiza examen físico, estudios (hematológicos, radiografías, ultrasonido de partes blandas y biopsia por aspiración con agujas finas (BAFF), se decide realizar tratamiento quirúrgico con diagnóstico clínico de hemangioma (parotidectomía superficial exploratoria y exéresis del tumor con conservación del nervio facial); macroscópicamente se observa tumoración cavernosa y de color pardo oscuro que resume sangre, cuyo informe histológico confirma eldiagnóstico de hemangioma cavernoso. Se observa buena evolución clínica durante las consultas de seguimiento (AU)

ABSTRACT

It is reported a case of male patient, 17years old who complains about referring maxillofacial swelling on the right side of the face, asymptomatic. physical examination is performed, (hematology, x-rays, ultrasound, soft tissue biopsy and fine needle aspiration (BAFF.finally, surgery was practiced with a clinical diagnosis of hemangioma (superficial parotidectomy exploratory excision of the tumor with preservation of facial nerve) .macroscopically was observed cavernous tumor, dark brown with blood whose histological report confirmed the diagnosis of cavernous hemangioma. good clinical outcome was observed during follow-up visits
