RESUMEN
Se realizó un estudio prospectivo longitudinal, observacional, analítico de una población de 135 pacientes en el área del Consultorio Médico de la Familia 141 A perteneciendo al Policlínico Jimmy Hirtzel en un período de Octubre del 2002 a Enero del 2003. Teniendo en cuenta que las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles y dentro de ellas las cardiovasculares ocupan un lugar importante como causa de muerte en el mundo y en nuestro país, nos hicimos el propósito de investigar el comportamiento de esta entidad en nuestra área. Siendo nuestro primer objetivo el comportamiento de la cardiopatía isquémica, nos dimos a la tarea de relacionarla con las variables siguientes Edad, sexo, estado nutricional, hábito de fumar, alcoholismo, antecedentes patológicos, antecedentes patológicos personales, hábitos alimenticios, etc. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea nos auxiliamos de un formulario donde se recogieron datos personales y generales, luego estos fueron procesados y computarizados obteniéndose los resultados siguientes. La morbilidad fue mayor en el grupo de más de 65 años y el sexo más afectado fue el femenino, además los factores de riesgo que predominaron fueron el hábito de fumar, la obesidad y el stres(AU)
ABSTRACT
It was performed a prospective, longitudinal, observational, analytical study of a population of 135 patients in the area of the Family Medical Office 141 A that belonged to Jimmy Hirtzel Polyclinic during the period October, 2002 to January, 2003. Taking into account the non transmitted chronic illnesses and inside them the cardiovascular diseases play an important role as the cause of death in the world and in our country, we decided to investigate the behavior of this entity in our area. Our first objective was the behavior of the ischemic cardiopathy, our task was to relate it with the following variables age, sex, nutritional state, smoking habit, alcoholism, pathological antecedents, personal pathological antecedents, alimentary habits, etc. To carry out this task we used a form where there were gathered personal and general data, afterwards these data were processed and computerized obtaining the following results. The morbility was greater in the group over 65 years and the most affected sex was the female, besides the risk that prevailed were the smoking habit, the obesity and the stress(EU)
