RESUMEN

La leche materna se considera el mejor medio de alimentación para el recién nacido, ya que aporta considerables beneficios tanto para el niño como para la madre, la familia y la sociedad en su conjunto, por ello su promoción se ha convertido en un objetivo para todos los Sistemas de Salud si se considera que su uso exclusivo es suficiente para permitir el crecimiento del lactante. La insuficiencia de leche o hipogalactia, es una enfermedad frecuente y se ha encontrado en la medicina tradicional posibilidades de enfrentarse a la misma con garantías de éxito y con los beneficios que ello produce basándonos en la larga tradición de esta milenaria medicina en este campo. Actualizar entonces el enfoque diagnóstico y terapéutico de la insuficiencia de leche desde la Medicina Tradicional y Natural (MNT) se convierte en una prioridad al ser esta efectiva, económica y permitir el progresivo perfeccionamiento de la atención primaria de salud(AU)

ABSTRACT

Breast milk is considered the best means of feeding in the newborn, as it provides significant benefits for the child and mother, family and society as a whole, so its promotion has become a target for all Health Systems considering that, its exclusive use is sufficient to the growth of the infant. Insufficient milk or lactation disorder is a common disease found in traditional medicine likely to face it with guarantees of success and the benefits that it produces based on the long tradition of this ancient medicine in this field. Update, the diagnostic and therapeutic approach of insufficient milk from the Traditional and Natural Medicine (MNT) becoming it in a priority to been more effective, economical and permits progressive development of primary health care
