Consideraciones bioéticas en la investigación científica en el Servicio de Anestesiología y Reanimación de Ciego de Ávila / Bioethical considerations in scientific research in the Service of Anesthesiology of Ciego de Avila

RESUMEN

Introducción: los procesos de investigación desarrollados en el campo de la anestesiología han permitido enriquecer el conocimiento científico y la aplicación de tecnologías que se rigen por los principios éticos implícitos con la finalidad de producir bienestar social. Método: se realizó un estudio descriptivo con el objetivo de evaluar la aplicación de los principios bioéticos en la investigación científica en el tratamiento de la cefalea postpunción en pacientes cesareadas del municipio Ciego de Ávila. La muestra la conformaron los 50 pacientes incluidos en el estudio Parche Epidural con Dextran 40 en el tratamiento de la cefalea postpunción en pacientes cesareadas. Se confeccionó una escala de evaluación de excelente, muy bueno y bueno se tuvo en cuenta presencia y calidad del consentimiento informado que unifica los principios de autonomía y beneficencia, no maleficencia y justicia así como mediante la evaluación de los resultados ante el tratamiento del dolor para reforzar los mismos. Resultados y Discusión: se mostraron resultados muy buenos en el 92 por ciento de los casos según la escala utilizada y la existencia de consentimiento informado en todas las pacientes investigadas, se logró alivio del dolor en el 100 por ciento de las pacientes. Sólo 4 pacientes (2 de cada grupo) requirieron repetir el método de analgesia con una evaluación de los resultados de bueno. Conclusiones: el estudio dio cumplimiento con los principios bioéticos de beneficencia, no maleficencia y justicia. La visión bioética respecto al principio de autonomía expone que la información sobre el método de tratamiento aplicado fue incompleta(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introduction: the processes of investigation developed in the field of Anaesthesiology have allowed to enriche the scientific knowledge and the application of technologies based on the ethical principles with the purpose of producing social welfare. Method: an observational descriptive study was carried out to evaluate the application of the bioethic principles in the scientific investigation in the treatment of post-puncture cephalea in caesaread patients from Ciego of Avila. The sample consisted of 50 patients included in the study Epidural dextran 40 patch in postpuncture headache treatment in cesarean patients. A scale of evaluation was applied, which was divided into three grades excellent, very good and good taking into account the presence and the quality of the informed consent that unites the principles of autonomy and beneficence, no maleficence and justice as well as the evaluation of the results of the pain treatment to reinforce these criteria. Results and discussion: very good results were shown in 92 percent of the cases according to the used scale and the existence of informed consent in all the studied patients, the pain was relief in 100 percent of the patients. Only 4 patients (2 of each group) required to repeat the analgesia method and they had a good result according to the scale. Conclusions: the study accomplished with the bioethics principles of beneficence, no maleficence and justice.
