RESUMEN

El tratamiento del dolor bucodental de intensidad leve a moderada y de origen nociceptivo e inflamatorio requiere generalmente la prescripción de analgésicos no opioides. Se exponen las acciones de estos medicamentos y sus principales indicaciones en la práctica clínica odontológica, a fin de contribuir a elevar el nivel de conocimientos sobre esta temática, la calidad de la prescripción y la atención integral al paciente por parte del profesional de la odontología en el nivel primario de salud(AU)

ABSTRACT

The treatment of mild to moderate intensity oral-dental pain and of nociceptive and inflammatory origin generally requires the prescription of non-opioid analgesics. The actions of these medications and their main indications are exposed in the clinical and odontological practice, in order to contribute to increase the knowledge level on this topic, the quality of the prescription and the comprehensive care to the patient by the Odontology professional in the health primary level(AU)
