RESUMEN
Introducción:
la tuberculosis es una enfermedad reemergente en Cuba, donde existe un Programa Nacional de Control que posibilita mantener las tasas de incidencias en los mínimos deseados.Objetivos:
analizar los principales indicadores del Programa Nacional para el Control de la Tuberculosis en San José de las Lajas.Métodos:
se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal en el período comprendido entre febrero del 2014 y febrero de 2015 sobre las 34 487 atenciones médicas efectuadas por infecciones respiratorias agudas, los 371 sintomáticos respiratorios de más de 21 días y los 13 casos de tuberculosis con sus 196 contactos, según la información documental que se halla en los modelos específicos de este programa. Las variables estudiadas fueron sintomáticos respiratorios, pesquisas a grupos vulnerables, pacientes estudiados con baciloscopías directa, cultivo y con rayos X de tórax, pacientes enfermos de tuberculosis y personas que recibieron quimioprofilaxis.Resultados:
la captación de sintomáticos respiratorios de más de 21dias aún no alcanza los indicadores establecidos para la vigilancia de los grupos vulnerables, no obstante, se practica adecuadamente el tratamiento de los enfermos y la quimioprofilaxis de los contactos, sin embargo, se detectaron deficiencias en el seguimiento por pasos escalonados del estudio de los sintomáticos respiratorios de más de 21 días.Conclusiones:
las principales deficiencias detectadas fueron en la vigilancia en la atención primaria de salud sobre todo en grupos vulnerables a padecer la tuberculosis y en San José de las Lajas la incidencia se encuentran por encima de la media nacional(AU)ABSTRACT
Introduction:
tuberculosis is are emergent disease in Cuba, where there is a National Control of Tuberculosis Program that makes possible to keep the incidence rates in the wished minimal.Objectives:
to analyze the main indicators of the National Control of Tuberculosis Program in San José de las Lajas.Methods:
a descriptive, transversal study was carried out in a period between February, 2014 and February, 2015 about the 34 487 medical cares performed for acute respiratory infections, the 371 respiratory symptomatic patients of more than 1 days and the 13 cases of tuberculosis with their 196 contacts, according to the documental information found in the specific forms of this program . The studied variables were respiratory symptomatic patients , searching to vulnerable groups, studied patients with direct baciloscopies, cultures and with positive chest X rays , sick patients with tuberculosis and people who received chemical prophylaxis .Results:
the getting of respiratory symptomatic patients of more than 21days, does not reach the established indicators for watching the vulnerable group yet, nevertheless, the treatment for sick patients is practiced adequately well as the chemical prophylaxis of the contacts, however, deficiencies were detected in the follow up by steps of the study of the respiratory symptomatic patients of more than 21 days.Conclusions:
The detected main deficiencies were the close watching in the Primary health care, mainly in the vulnerable groups to suffer from tuberculosis and in San José de las Lajas the incidences higher than the national medium(AU)
