Caracterización de ancianos centenarios con dependencia funcional / Characterization of centenarian elders with functional dependence

RESUMEN

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal en ancianos centenarios dispensarizados por los equipos básicos de trabajo pertenecientes al Policlínico Universitario Omar Ranedo Publillones en el periodo enero - junio de 2017, con el objetivo de caracterizar y dirigir acciones encaminadas a disminuir los problemas encontrados en los ancianos. La muestra estuvo constituida por 16 centenarios entre las edades de 100 y 105 años, se revisaron las historias clínicas, así como sus evaluaciones integrales. Para obtener la mayor información se realizó una entrevista profunda a los cuidadores, aplicando el test minimental para evaluar la esfera cognitiva- afectiva desde el punto de vista psicológico, para el análisis estadístico se calculó el porcentaje y se reflejó en tablas. Se obtuvo como resultado que el sentimiento de mayor predominio fue la soledad acompañado de trastornos en el sueño con ligero deterioro cognitivo en la esfera psicológica, los principales problemas médicos fueron las deficiencias visuales y auditivas con las insuficiencias respiratorias agudas(AU)

ABSTRACT

A cross - sectional descriptive study was carried out on the centenarians dispensed by the basic work teams belonging to the center Policlinic, in the period January - June 2017, with the aim of characterizing and directing actions with the aim of reducing the problems encountered in the elderly. The sample was constituted by 16 centenarians between the ages of 100 and 105 years, the clinical histories were reviewed, as well as their integral evaluations. The best information was obtained a deep interview was carried out with the caregivers, applying the mini mental test to evaluate the cognitive-affective sphere from the psychological point of view, for the statistical analysis, the percentage was calculated and reflected in tables. The result was that: the feeling of loneliness accompanied by sleep disorder with slight cognitive deterioration in the psychological sphere, then visual and auditory deficiencies with acute respiratory failure was the main medical problems
