ABSTRACT
Finite element models considered the fracture bahavior of R/C frames, masonry units, mortar joints, and frame panel interface have been developed to study the lateral load resistance of masonry infilled R/C frames, The models have been validated with the results of tests conduced on 1/2 scale, single story, R/C frames infilled with concrete masonry units. An excellent correlation has been obtained between the influence of different desing parameters on the performance of infilled frames (AU)
