Introduction:
Dynamic violent behavior risk factors are highly important because they constitute the main target for preventive intervention.Method:
Different dynamic factors as well as violent recidivism were assessed in 25 prisoners on parole from the Province of Buenos Aires Penitentiary System. One of the instruments used in doing this was the environmental risk (Risk Management) section ofthe Argentinean version ofthe HCR-20.Conclusions:
Among other findings was the prevalence of risk factors linked to drug abuse and socioeconomic deprivation. Another was a heterogeneous perception of official institutions. Exposure to destabilizers was the factor most associated with violent recidivism
