RESUMEN

La leptina es una proteína clave en la regulación de la ingestiónde alimentos, junto con determinadas zonas hipotalámicas,conocidas desde hace mucho tiempo por estar relacionadascon el hambre y la saciedad. Al mismo tiempo, la más recientedescripción de diversos neuropéptidos con efectos orexígenosunos (neuropéptido Y, AGRP), y anorexígenos otros (alfa-MSH,CART, CRH, GLP-1), contribuyen a componer un cuadro decomplejas relaciones y equilibrios, en los que intervienen tambiénotras moléculas que transportan señales relacionadas concambios en la ingestión de alimentos (leptina, insulina, ghrelina).El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sido revisar los distintosaspectos relacionados con leptina, neuropéptidos y conductaalimentaria, que pueden ayudar a comprender los fenómenosrelacionados con modificaciones de la conducta alimentaria

ABSTRACT

Leptin is a key protein in the control of food intake, togetherwith concrete hypothalamic areas, well known because theirrelations with hungry and saciety.On the other hand, the more recent description of severalneuropeptides with orectic (neuropeptide Y, AGRP) and anorectic(alpha-MSH, CART, CRH, GLP-1) effects, contribute to compoundthe complex mechanisms in which also take part othermolecules that transport signals related to changes in the foodintake (leptine, insuline, ghreline).The purpose of the present work has been to review the differentaspects related to leptine, neuropeptides and eatingbehaviour, that may be a help to understand the aspects relatedto eating behaviour modifications
