RESUMEN

La estereolitografía es una nueva técnica con la que, mediante el procesamiento de los datos obtenidos mediante TAC (Tomografía Axial Computarizada) helicoidal de los pacientes y mediante un sistema informático, se obtienen modelos o prototipos sólidos en tres dimensiones. El objetivo de la estereolitografía en Ciencias de la Salud es la solución de problemas con mayor eficacia y rapidez, es decir, poder realizar un buen diagnóstico y plan de tratamiento más preciso. Con la estereolitografía se abre un nuevo campo para la investigación (AU)

ABSTRACT

The stereolithography is a new technique with which three dimensional models or solid prototypes are obtained, thanks to the processing of the obtained data, the patients helicoidal TAC and an informatic system. The target of stereolithography in Health Sciences is to salve problems with higher efficiency and in less time, that´s to be able to make a good diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan in more precise way.
