ABSTRACT
Diabetic mastopathy is a clinicopathologic entity that represents less than 1% of benign breast disease and is mainly related to type 1 diabetes. The pathogenesis is unknown but the most convincing hypothesis postulates extracellular collagen deposit and predominantly B-cell inflammation with autoimmune response. The clinical, radiological and pathological features of four patients with diabetic mastopathy are presented (AU)
