RESUMEN
La siguiente investigación presenta los resultados de un estudio sobre la evaluación de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud y el apoyo social percibido en 60 pacientes con diagnóstico de tuberculosis pulmonar entre los 18 a 70 años de edad de ambos géneros inscritos en el programa de control y prevención de tuberculosis de Metrosalud de Antioquia, Colombia. Para evaluar la calidad de vida se utilizó el Cuestionario SF36 y el apoyo social funcional fue evaluado mediante el Cuestionario DUKE-UNK. Indicando que la muestra tuvo una calidad de vida buena y muy poco apoyo o respaldo social. En general hubo alta fiabilidad en todo el estudio con un alfa de Cronbach superior a .80
ABSTRACT
The following investigation show the results of a study on the evaluation of the health-related quality of life and the social support perceived in 60 patients with diagnosis of tuberculosis pulmonary between the 18 to 70 years of age of both genders enrolled in the control program and prevention of tuberculosis of Metrosalud de Antioquia, Colombia. In order to evaluate the quality of life Questionnaire SF36 was used and the functional social support was evaluated by means of Questionnaire DUKE-UNK. Indicating that the sample had a quality of good life and very little support or social endorsement. In general there was discharge reliability in all the study with an alpha of Cronbach superior to .80
