Retratamiento de un 16 con vitalidad positiva y 3 perforaciones de furca, 5 años de evolución / Root canal retreatment of a 16 tooth with a positive vitality and 3 furcation perforations, 5 years of evolution

RESUMEN

Se presenta un caso con perforación del suelo de la cámara pulpar al intentar un tratamiento en un 16. El diente presentaba vitalidad pulpar positiva y fístula a nivel del marge de la encía. Se realiza un retratamiento endodóncico no quirúrgico de los conductos radiculares y sellado de las 3 perforaciones del suelo de la cámara pulpar con MTA (Pro Root, Maillefer, Dentsply, Ballaiges, Suiza). El caso se rehabilita con éxito y tiene controles de hasta 5 años con el paciente completamente asintomático (AU)

ABSTRACT

We report a case with perforation of the pulp chamber floor in a 16 tooth. The pulp vitality of the tooth was positive and it presented a fistula at the gun margin. The root canal nonsurgical retreatment is performed and also the seal of the 3 perforations of the pulp chamber with MTA (Pro Root, Maillefer, Dentsply, Ballaigues, Switzerland). The case was successfully rehabilitated and has controls up to 5 years with the patient completely asymptomatic (AU)
