RESUMO

A imaginação é frequentemente confundida com devaneios sem impacto na realidade, tendo sido historicamente preterida pela Psicologia face a outras faculdades mentais. No entanto, como função psíquica superior, desempenha papel fundamental na atividade consciente humana. Especialmente, no trabalho. Objetiva-se discutir neste artigo, baseado na Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, a relação entre imaginação e o controle da subjetividade no campo do trabalho; bem como defender a tese de que o controle da imaginação pode alterar a relação do indivíduo com a realidade e os processos psíquicos de produção de imagem subjetiva da realidade objetiva. A partir disso, propõem-se duas formas predominantes de processos cognitivo-afetivos, que se manifestam como tendências do psiquismo humano um cuja prevalência ocorre por meio do exercício da imaginação criativa; e outro por meio do "realismo fatalista e conformista", entendido como a forma de imaginação típica do trabalho alienado, responsável pelo exercício da imaginação como produção de imagens fictícias

ABSTRACT

Imagination is often confused with daydreams with no impact on reality, having historically been superseded by psychology over other mental faculties. However, as a higher psychic function, it plays a fundamental role in human conscious activity. Especially at work. This article aims to discuss, based on Cultural-Historical Psychology, the relationship between imagination and subjectivity control in the field of work; as well as defend the thesis that the control of the imagination can alter the individual’s relationship with reality and the psychic processes of subjective image production of objective reality. From this, two predominant forms of cognitive-affective processes are proposed, which manifest themselves as tendencies in the functioning of the psyche one whose prevalence occurs through the exercise of creative imagination; and the other through "fatalistic and conformist realism", understood as the form of imagination typical of alienated work, responsible for the exercise of imagination as production of fictitious images
