RESUMEN
En este trabajo se presenta un breve recorrido histórico sobre el papel de la terapiafamiliar en el tratamiento de las adicciones. Siguiendo la propuesta de Rolland y Walsh(1996) se analizan con detenimiento los modelos centrados en la resolución de problemas ylos modelos intergeneracionales. El objetivo básico del artículo es mostrar las aportacionesde las diferentes perspectivas y contribuir a enfoques más integradores en el tratamientofamiliar de las adicciones. En esta línea se concluye con una revisión de los estudios deeficacia de la terapia familiar y se proponen líneas futuras de investigación(AU)
ABSTRACT
This paper presents a brief historical review on the role of family therapy in thetreatment of addictions. Following the proposal of Rolland & Walsh (1996) discussesin detail the models that focus on solving problems and intergenerational models. Thepurpose of the article is to show the contributions of the different perspectives andcontribute to more inclusive approaches in family treatment of addictions. In this lineconcludes with a review of studies of effectiveness of family therapy and proposes futuredirections for research(AU)
