T lymphocyte subsets in chronic AgHBe positive hepatitis and the effects of prednisone theraphy

RESUMO
Subpopulaçäo de linfócitos T foi estudada em 18 pacientes com hepatite crônica pelo vírus B e AgHBe positivos, durante e após um curso de 10 semanas de corticoterapia. Näo houve diferença estatisticamente significante durante e após cortifcoterapia no número total de linfócitos e na subpopulaçäo de linfócitos T. A relaçäo CD4/CD8 estava significativamente diominuida devido à reduçäo nas populaçäo CD4, quando comparada com o grupo controle, antes do início do tratamento. Os pacientes näo responderam à corticoterapia
