O presente artigo refere-se à situaçäo profissional de uma amostra dos nutricionistas formados pela PUCCAMP, nos anos de 1982 a 1986. Foram levantadas as relaçöes hierárquicas, atuaçäo profissional, avaliaçäo da formaçäo recebida, percepçäo de si como profissional da saúde, atualizaçäo profissional e filiaçäo a entidades profissionais. Procurou-se analisar e interpretar os resultados encontrados, buscando explicaçöes para a situaçäo atual no contexto onde o profissional atua e na evoluçäo histórica da profissäo
