Os autores fazem revisao a respeito da deformidade toracica conhecida como Pectus Carinatum ou "Peito de Pombo". Discutem os tipos de deformidade, etiopatogenia e tratamento. Apresentam 9 casos tratados cirurgicamente com excelentes resultados, utilizando a tecnica de Ravitch modificada. Fazem referencia a predominancia absoluta de Pectus Carinatum em sua serie de deformidades toracicas
