RESUMEN
Se estudian los resultados inmediatos dela vagotomía altamente selectiva realizada a 62 pacientes en 4 hospitales clinicoquirúrgicos, de mayo de 1988 a abril de 1990. El proceder quirúrgico en todos los pacientes fue por úlcera duodenal rebelde al tratamiento médico. El 51,6 % tenían más de 40 años de edad, el 40 % hacia más de 10 años que padecían esta enfermedd y fue superior el número de pacientes del sexo masculino (88,7 %). Sólo el 3,2 % presentó complicaciones posoperatorias. La mortalidad fue nula
