RESUMO
Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um estudo sobre o autoconceito de alcoolistas do PAA-HUCAM-UFES. Solicitou-se a apresentaçåo de atributos que os identificassem (ingroup), bem como atributos que identificassem o outro grupo (bebedor social/outgroup). Observou-se a predominância de atributos negativos a respeito do próprio grupo (alcoolistas) ao passo que os atributos do outro grupo (bebedor social) foi positivamente valorado. Verificou-se também o desejo de serem positivamente valorados
