RESUMEN
Se presentan los resultados de un estudio de prevalencia de desórdenes mentales en una muestra de estudiantes de pregrado de la Universidad de Concepción. Destaca que la probable prevalencia de desórdenes ansioso-depresivos alcanza al 53 por ciento, mientras que la del abuso y dependencia al alcohol llega al 25 por ciento. Las altas tasas están asociadas con el inicio de los estudios, la facultad de referencia y la duestructra y disfunción familiar
