ABSTRACT
Spinal epidural cysts are uncommon lesions, usually with symptoms associated with low back pain secondary to a compressive effect. These meningeal cysts are communications between the subarachnoid space and the duramater, and histologically they consist of a thick bilayered meningeal membrane with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) inside. Due to its rarity, a case of a patient presenting with an epidural lumbar cyst is reported.
