RESUMO
O conceito de neutralidade é discutido dentro da compreensão pós-modernaatual e se associa a ele, como uma das suas principais funções, o de assegurar a integridade do setting terapêutico, em geral sob grave ameaça de desestruturação quando se trata com os chamados pacientes difíceis. Acentua-se o valor ativo e constitutivo do setting no desenvolvimento das psicoterapias psicanalíticas, questiona-se o manejo da introdução de parâmetros nestes casos difíceis e fazem-se alguns comentários sobre a relação das fragilidades do terapeuta com a preservação de sua neutralidade analítica
ABSTRACT
The neutrality concept is discussed according to the current post-modern comprehension and is associated with it, as one of its main functions, in order to garantee the therapeutic setting integrity, which is usually under threat of loss of structure when dealing with difficult patients. It is emphasized theactive and constitutive value of the setting in the psychoanalytic psychotherapy development, it is discussed the management of the inclusion of parameters in these difficult cases, and some comments on the therapist’s fragility in relation to his/her analytical neutrality is made
