ABSTRACT
A family history of breast cancer or the presence of a germ-line mutation of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene increases the risk considerably. MRI appears to be more sensitive than mammography in detecting tumors in these women. Annual screening combining Mammography and MRI would detect more cancer in early stages.
